I have a 15 XLT no MFT. I bought my truck used and it did NOT come with the factory unlock code in the glovebox. Does anyone know of any other way to reset the keypad ofther thabn taking it to the dealership? Thanks

On my 11 I was told the code was on a sticker behind the rear seats but I can't confirm. I can tell you the dealer can pull it with a computer.

Thanks. I do not have time to goto a dealer. I was trying to figure out tonight or tomorrow morning beofre a roadtrip. It is frustrating! I've search all over the internet. I know someone has to know the location on the 15's or have another way to reset.

Not familiar with your model. This may help. If not do a search for keypad code or variations thereof. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/secur...y-code-352917/

If you have both keys, you can get it to Display, in the gauge screen.

The video in the thread link above is a different model truck. The screen in my truck is not colored. Not sure if that makes a difference.

This video is for the bayonet key fob on a 2014.

What kind of fob do you have btw? Do you push button start? This may have a bearing on how the process works.

BTW you can't reset the code. It is for life, but you can add additional codes.

Posted many times on the forum.

In the manual, which is available on the Ford Owner site:

Displaying the Factory Set Code Note: You will need to have two programmed passive anti-theft keys for this procedure. To display the factory set code in the information display: 1. Insert a key into the ignition and turn the ignition on for a few seconds. 2. Turn the ignition off and remove the key. 3. Insert the second key into the ignition and turn the ignition on. The factory set code will display for a few seconds. Note: The code may not display until after any other warning messages first display.
