Ok so when I took delivery of my 16' XLT there were no security codes attached to the keys for the key cut. Now my sales guy is directing me to their service department to help find it out? Isn't this normally attached to the keys, all my other vehicles had a tag or stamped metal tag on a ring.

Is this something that is easily retrieved with the VIN at the dealer, I was thinking of having another key cut but I can't believe they don't have the codes?

Mine was in the owners manual...
If not there the dealer lost it and probably service would need to plug er in...good luck and dont let them charge you!

The card for the keypad is in the owners manual, but nothing for the physical key "cut", per the manual it should have been attached to the keys.

Its on a card in the owners manual. Its also usually on a sticker attached to some random part under the dash.

This worked for my 2015 to get factory keypad code.
