Default 2015 a/c climate control problem

Anyone having problems with the climate control select floor still comes out of dash. Same for defrost.

Just got back from Ford dealership they kept my truck for 4 days. They said everything Fix i go out to my truck start it up. now all air goes to Defrost. Went back inside told them they start working on it again. Could not fix the problem after 2.5 hrs of waiting. Then they had a nerve to asking me (in a smart mean way) someone been behind the dash and did not hook a connector up. I told them that it was the first for this issue. Now they said they have to order a actuator. I do not think this is fix

Nobody has any suggestion ?

Yes, Have the same issue! the first couple visits they replace a controller and something else on the other visit...still no go. Finally escalated to work with a ford engineer and the same conclusion they require an actuator ( on back-order) plus a full day to pull out the dash to replace... as of today it's been 2 weeks waiting for part, i was provided a rental.... for me the A/C would hardly come out of the console vents and now its colder when using the heat it wouldn't adjust fully to my vent selection plus i could not find a happy medium for "luke" warm it was always hot..... i'll follow-up when i hear more or get mine resolved...

I hope it's not the old Blend Door failure I had on my '08.

Hi Micro Balanced,

Perhaps I can help speed things up; is your truck still at the dealer? Send me a PM with your VIN, odometer reading, full name, phone number, and dealer info. I'll see what resources are available.

Thanks!

Mathieu

Still in shop. waiting to changing out the evaporator case housing.... I still do not believe this will fix it.... my guess is a bad pin or harness somewhere maybe the pin pushed out a little. We see what tomorrow will bring.

I had this issue with my Jeep when I first bought it. Jeeps are known for their incredible heat and I froze my A** off the first winter I had it. Long story short, they ended up replacing the entire HVAC system, including the radiator, before realizing it was a faulty head unit. Everything is electronic these days and these head units are prone to malfunction from day one. After replacing the head unit, my Jeep felt like all the fury of Hell was blowing out of my vents!

I meant to update here sooner....mine is fixed too!, after almost 4 weeks on backorder with no sign in siite of one coming there robbed an actuator off one of the trucks on the lot and it works as should...... now i gotta follow the moon-roof knocking thread! mine jsut started a couple weeks ago and i'm reluctant to go to the dealers right away, probably first thing in the the NewYear
