2015 2.7 ordered
Well after weeks of back and forth ordered a new 2.7 xlt/xtr/sport 4x4 crew last week. I was 80% sure at one point it would be ram ecodiesel. But after driving and a good deal on the Ford I went that route. After calling a few dodge dealers and finding maintenance costs it also helped me with choice. Every dealer was over $330 for oil change here in Ontario. I was put off the ford because after basic negotiating it was still $4000 more then a similar equipped ram outdoorsman with the diesel. But once it came down to serious talks the ford came out $2000 cheaper and $4000 more options.*
Prior to this I would have never considered a 2014 and older f150. I have driven a few, but the 2015 feels totally different.
What am I giving up is a 2012 nissan titan, which hands down has been my favorite truck to date. And it only comes down to fuel economy. I average about 36000 km a year. Towing a 6000lb travel trailer about 3000k, a 4000lb loaded snowmobile trailer about 2000k and rest commuting.Titan was on par with my 2011 ram Hemi I had. But now with all the improvement with other manufacturers the gas savings pays for the new truck. But as much as I like the new ford the titan non xd still has me interested and will keep an eye on it. The titan was approaching 100k so time to deal now before major value drop. So ford was it.

Good luck with your new truck. I ordered mine on 3/11 and it arrived at the dealer yesterday afternoon. They have to put the long range remote start yet. I'll be picking it up this morning. Came in pretty quick!
I am in the Ottawa area. I ordered on 3/31, Cotus says expected delivery on 6/15. My dealer said 6-8 weeks. So now expected delivery of more then 10 weeks. It still takes time, lots of dealers have plenty if stock but my dealership has only a few and can't keep them in stock.

I have an undercover flex and bed rug on the way. And have a bit of a graphics kit designed to advertise the 2.7 a bit more.

In keeping with the theme of this thread, I also ordered the 2.7. Mileage and price were the primary motivations there.

I have had my 2.7 SCREW 4x4 Lariat for a week now, have put just shy of 600 miles (965km for our friends up north). My first tank by the computer I was averaging 19.4mpg, 18.8 hand calculated, if you use remote start the computer doesn't calculate mpg as its off (8.2k/l computer 9k/l by hand). On my second tank I'm at about half way through it and by the computer I'm at 21 mpg (8.9k/l). My commute is suburbia, highway that's stop and go and country roads about 55 miles round trip a day. I am thrilled with the mileage! My focus was getting about 29mpg same scenario, so for a full size truck its great. I had a 5.0 in my 2011 and the 2.7 does a better job at commuting by about 5 mpg and handles the route I drive better due to the turbos making the transmission shift less. I have a few hills where the 5.0 would down shift a lot more to get in the power band but that little 2.7 does need to. As far off the line, cant comment yet as Im babying the engine for the first 1,000 miles, but the test drive one I borrowed felt just as quick off the line. I was in the same boat when looking at trucks, I wanted fuel economy and price was a factor. By getting the 2.7 I was able to get more options in my price range.
if I did the math right, it only took 4 weeks for your truck. mine arrived today, I ordered 3/6, so 5 1/2 weeks. I think I'll go take a peek tomorrow, gotta wait for level and tires, get it probably Tuesday. I hope you post some pics.
