Line. So far I have added about 3/4 of a gallon. I had some rough idle when started warm. Then a check engine light went on yesterday and was off when I came out after card game when stared. Just checked fluid level again and it's down again. Dealership did a pressure test at 5000 miles and said it passed. It's at 10,000 miles and I am going in for a service call tomorrow and a oil change. $40,000 brand new and I will have to rent a car while they work on it. Geez!
Wondering if it is leaking , (don't see any leaks) or burning by leaking out a intake gasket or head gasket. I did notice white exhaust smoke once but I am normally inside truck when started.
Did you ever get this figured out? I bought a 15 2.7 about 6 months ago and have noticed a very slow drop in level with no signs of leaking or otherwise. Nothing else seems off, so not sure if that is normal, or where it would be eating it... I just hit 40k miles on the truck, so would be surprised if it were actually a problem, but curious if others have seen this too and what the dealership did?

My 5.0 did the same thing during the first few months. Dealer topped it off and it has been fine for over 2 years now. Probably just some air bubbles left over from factory fill.
