Default 2.7 Auto Start Stop?

I have 2000 miles on my truck. When I got it the start stop worker. Now it doesn't work. As far as I can tell all the conditions for it to work are in place. The AC is off, seat belt buckled, steering wheel straight, break pedal pushed, 12.5 volts in battery, 71 degrees outside,,,. Also the MPG continues to drop. When I first got the truck the MPG was 22.5 it has dropped to 21. I'm driving the same places same soft foot. I don't know the 2 are related or even could be.
What are your thoughts? THANKS..

The problem is..."break pedal pushed"...you broke it!

Seems like on mine I have to push the brake pedal harder than when it was new. Mine was working intermittently until I learned that the seat belt is supposed to be buckled. But I see you already got that on your checklist.

Not a big fan of it, wish it could be turned off as a default, and pushed on when desired.

When I got my truck I wasn't to big of a fan of the Start/Stop but figured I'd just see how it went, now when it doesn't Stop when I'm at a light I wonder what's up.

Not unlike the op of this thread my Start/Stop has quit engaging for no discernible reason for days at a time then again for no discernible reason began re-engaging. This has happened a few times over the two months I've had my truck.

But to answer the question, yes I think I do like it, especially when I'm growing old at some of the reallllly long red lights I have around my home.... hope my starter lasts!

Mine works pretty consistently and I've got a little over 2000 now. Occasionally is seems as though it's not working when normally it would have. I don't mind though, if it only works 50% of the time that means I'm only saving a little extra money 50% of the time but I'm also not having to deal with truck shutting off as much.
Fact is though, mine is working more like 90% of the time..............

I have no issues with it.
It's all in how hard you press that brake pedal

My tuner disables it. I didn't mind it when it was working. Like crew man said, brake pedal pressure is where it's at.

I hate it! To me it's more trouble than it worth! About the time it shuts down it has to restart!
