Default Am I being too sensitive???

So the dealer called and asked me to drive the truck over the weekend. If I can't stand the whine he will find me a new truck. What do you guys think? Turn your volume up because it sounds worse in person than it does on this. Keep in mind I had a 2017 3.5/10 speed that never made a peep. This was low speed driving in 3rd gear.

I've got a 2017 3.5/10 and while it had it share of noises, I've never heard that. I think it would drive me to drink. Oh wait, if probably drink anyway but I might have a better reason to drink now. That sounds annoying.

Your taking about the sound that starts at 7/8 secs?

No, you're not being too sensitive. That's ridiculous! Mine also makes a whining noise at a certain speed along with 'clunks' all the dang time. Mine even whines when I turn the steering wheel and dealer says it's normal. I've never had a vehicle in my life I've been as disappointed with as this truck!

Nope that sounds like nothing i've ever heard from this transmission. That's a new one on me. I've heard all sorts of hydraulic pump type whining noises but never what's in your video.

In sure the 10-sp tranny is silky smooth but you can’t determine if it’s a “good” tranny till folks clock 100k and beyond.

Then we’ll know.

I'm really not a fan of the 10 speed. 5 speed is about right.

Those who have a 2017 with the new 10 speed I'm interested how it's working for you?

Good or bad?
I have 32K miles on my 2017 and the 10 speed has been great. No funny noises or shifting issues. It's much better than the 6 speed in my 2014 which I had issues with @ 28K miles.

I'm at 71K and couldn't be happier. Smooth as butter!

Wow, I thought my whine was bad! Something isn't right, I would take him up on the offer. My whine is mostly isolated to leading up to gear changes. There is also a slight whine in park and light acceleration, but nothing like you're experiencing.
