Default 10 speed transmission good or bad?

I'm looking at a 2018 or 2019 and was wondering how dependable the new 10 speed tranny has been?
Those who have a 2017 with the new 10 speed I'm interested how it's working for you?

I've had mine for 4 months. Love it. Zero issues. Seamless shifting with the perfect gear every time.

Only have 800 miles on my 10 speed so far, but it has been great. It has a few hard and soft shifts every once in a while, but according to the owner's manual, jerks and slow shifts are normal until the transmission has learned your driving style. Most shifts are crisp and it does not search for gears. I have yet to tow with it, but I have no doubt that it will perform well.

Go test drive one to see how you like it!

I have one with over 9000 miles and have had zero problems, and I like the way it operates. But there are others on this forum that have had problems, so it's not perfect. My truck was built in December, so it would be interesting to see the build dates for the ten speeds that have had problems - I would guess that there have been some tweeks along the way. If you can wait, it's probably to your advantage.

Remember, this is the same 10speed trans Chevy uses in the vette and Z06, with simply different gear ratios....so it's pretty stout.

Over 15k miles on mine and it has been solid. No issues whatsoever.

Just over 14K and working well. Tow and sport mode work very good. The engine braking in tow mode works well.
