Default Trouble start

K I have an 89 ford f150 with a 302 and I got some fuel injected cleaner the other day and it ran fine for a bit. When I went to use it later it died on me and the started was killed trying to start it I replaced the starter. When I put the new starter in I got it running with a bit of fuss and when I accelerate it would act like it was choking then it died again and I cant start it. It will roll over but it wont fire the plugs are getting juice and it don't seam to be the fuel lines dose any one have any ideas that might help me out.

You need a fuel pressure gauge, one for fuel injected vehicles. One for carbureted vehicles won't work, it can't handle the higher pressures. There's a port on the fuel rail that you hook the gauge to. You then turn on the ignition and note the pressure. You then note how fast the pressure drops. Then start the truck and see the pressure when running, if it will start and run.

The fuel rail where is that and how do I recognize it. We had though that the cleaner I used has clogged up the injectors or something is there a way I could find that out or will that all be told with the fuel pressure gauge.

The fuel rail is on top of the engine and supplies fuel to all the injectors. If the pressure is good then you will know if fuel is getting to the engine but the injectors aren't firing or are clogged. If the pressure is low then the pump is going out, the filter is clogged, or the pump screen is clogged.

I just put a new fuel filter on it I was looking and the gauge was 100 dollars is there a cheaper one. the filter didn't change anything so I am not sure if it is the fuel if it is It must be the injectors would I be right maybe?

Without the proper tools to diagnose you are just guessing. You can replace this and that until it's fixed and spend a bunch of money or you can test this and that and replace what's needed. Buying the proper tools costs money but they will be there the next time you need them. Plus changing the wrong parts gets expensive too. I don't remember what my fuel pressure gauge cost but I'm pretty sure it wasn't $100. If it were $100 it wouldn't be in several pieces in my tool box right now. At least it still works.
