hey man you def cant go wrong with the tuner its the best bang for the buck but the way to do it is to get the intake, exhausrt and tuner all together that way you can have your custom tunes and everything ready right off the bat..
but the intake in most cases isnt going to help you much without a tune and you run the risk of running to lean good luck

yea those are the 3 big things most people get when modding their engine and performance. From what Ive read: exhaust first, then tuner, the CAI. although some tuners are made for stock intake i.e. the Edge evo. what ever you do good luck, Im sure whatever you end up with will be awesome

and another thing, with your exhaust be sure you get a good reliable brand, like Flowmaster, magnaflow, etc...if you go to a muffler shop theyll try to sell you something cheap, and an off-brand, dont do it cuz it wont last. do it right the first time and youll be way happier in the end.

you are 100% correct with the exhaust most shops claim to sell say flowmaster or magnaflow but they are usually a knock off and next thing you know they are rotting off your truck trust me been there done that save up the cash and look into a good stainless catback kit pluss you can keep it polished and lookin sharp for many years

hey bud, about how much was your entire system? how are your pipes setup (h pipe, Y pipe..etc.)? and im sure a dual in, single out would be cheaper than duals all the way?

oh and another thing about CAI, Ive looked on my truck and looking at the intake it already kinda sorta has one stock. it sucks in air from the fender well no the engine directly. so basicly your looking at getting a bigger pipe to allow more airflow into the engine. Im not a fan of when you pop the hood theres your giant K&N filter, but suckin it in from the fender is nice since its all fresh air coming in from a smaller pipe...all this is IMO to what I like...

well i got the magnaflow si/do catback system for around 700 and i had it put on at a shop with all the joints welded for another 65 bucks..

and yes the stock intake on my truck also sucked from a hole in the fender and does get the job done but the aftermarket intake def rams alot more air into the engine and is why the exhaust is needed to get that air back out and combined you get a nice throtle response with a good setup this is mine here

that is a very nice setup you got there. I wanna get an exhaust that exits where the stock does (out the left side behind the rear tire) id be a single out. about that CAI I wonder if i could just get a bigger pipe with a enclosed box and still sucks from the fender, but I know ill have to make a bigger hole in the fender tho........
