ya im not so much on the loud part, mostly performance > sound.

ive riden in ppls cars that are really loud but theyre super slow. I like the sleeper effect

haha magnaflow is prob the best performance wise for our truck and they sound like they were meant to be on the f150 imo

that just might very well be my answer.

Ive also heard the stock Y pipe (i think) is very restrictive and going with straight pipes to the muffler hence the D.I.S.O. would be much better. your thoughts?

the y pipe is restrictive, you would have to either put an x pipe in or run full length headers straight off the engine, full length headers are not street legal in most states, i currently have a borla exhaust and k and n cai and it did wonders for my truck

yea the X pipe is that I was thinking that was one of the best. I dont need full headers, just something with better flow and better sound. how much would 2 hi-flo cats (removing the 4 reg. cats) cost? Im trying it figure out how much an entire system would cost me...ideas? id like a stainless cat-back exhaust...

cat-back systems typically run 500-800 depending on brand, hi flow cats are between 200-300 lasts time I checked.
