The "WTF Is This" Game
Fix it. Your engine is married to the EEC whether you like it or not. Removal won't solve a problem as more likely, create a new one harder to address. You can't fight mother nature, & you don't want to **** of your EEC either.
You keep removing stuff w/ the EEC trying to function like it's still there, you will end up w/ a truck that only runs 1/2 ***, & will only give you 9-10 MPG. The EEC will make sure of it!

Fixed that line - thanks for the heads up.
I don't notice any difference the way the truck runs, yet
Think it needs a lot of emissions work. I'll pull the codes off sometime soon.
Anyone know the technical name for the 4x4 linkage - the part that the shifter handle connects to underneath the floorboard that then connects to the transmission:

As you can see, this one is broke and not sure exactly what it's called to find a new one.

Finally found it ...
4WD 4x4 Transfer Case Shift Shifter Linkage
Now another question:
Is there a way for me to find out, maybe through VIN, exactly all the details of the truck?
Wheelbase, transmission type, all that sort of thing? I keep running into bits and pieces that I need to fix asking questions about the truck that I just don't know.

VIN can tell you, world mfr (US or Canada), type (truck or bronco), GVW class, engine, model year and assembly plant.
The transmission code, axle code, color code, front and rear GAWR, tire size, inflation psi and spring rate is on the SCCL on the door there may be more on it but thats all that I can think of

on passenger side, 92 f150, down on ground next to rear seat. i guess its more like, WTF is this BS? haha
so i ran a wire through it. its about an inch in diameter completely unrestricted between cab and outside and is currently grommeted.

Do you have power lumbar in the front seats? That was likely for the wiring if you do not. Either that or..... someone stole your kanuter valve!!!!!!
