Default what size?

What size gears for a 92 f150 4x4 with a 351 with 35's been hearing alot of ppl saying that 410's are not enough to cut it and that i need to go with 456's. What do u guys run and What gears do you guys think i should run for all around best performance 410's or 456's?Thx

4.10s put you back at stock with 35s or close to it, if you want more power then before 4.56s.

4.56 is your best bet! Most guys always regret not going lower when swapping gears.

With 35 is go with the lower gear. I run 410 on 31" with a 5.0 and It feels just about right. I doubt you'll have a problem with too much torque.

guess i should look into bigger gears lol. iv always heard 4.10s for 35s till right now.

Go big or go home. Lol but seriously if your just cruising the greasy you might prefer the 410

eh, that might be it. it will be 95% cruising on the highway and in town. 5% in the woods getting firewood/hunting.

If you want in town mileage. And towing. 4.56's. If you see all highway, rarely tow, and dont have a need for putting ricers to shame, 4.10's are good. I wish i had 4.10's for my 33's.

yea, i dont need the f150 for towing, i bought a ram 2500 for that stuff. ill prob just get the 4.56s, couldn't imagine the cost being much different from the 4.10s.
