Default wont start

i have an 87 f-150 2wd with the 5.0 liter 302. the electrical system is running well and completely charged. but the engine wont start and the gas gauge reads full. any ideas why its not working (ignition, fuel pump, just out of gas, whatever you think might be the reason)

Well, what do you need for an engine to run....fuel air and spark right? We can assume you're getting air so verify the other two.....make sure you're getting sprak from the coil before the distributor...If you are then verify you're getting spark to the plugs...if not, most likely it's a bad TFI module which on that year should be on the side of the distributor.

I'd check fuel pump relay...a lot of guys on here complain they go bad all the time. I actually carry an extra one around in my door. No warning signs of it going bad, and even without it, the truck would crank. I'd check that.
