Default wolf's head

I just a 12 pack of quart bottles wolf's head 10w-30. Mostly because I can't afford to buy more expensive stuff, but also because I don't want to buy more expensive stuff for the truck to just burn through/use it.
What's the general consensus on the stuff?

It could just be a regional thing, but I know my brother uses it. It's not too great I guess, but I figure being 16 and on a really limited budget, it'd work. You can pretty much only buy it in bulk, I believe.

It is not the best but better then nothing. I have used and found some deposits left behind. If the motor is burning oil anyways then you should be okay with it. My dad used Havoline in his stuff and never had a problem. So that is a pretty good lower end oil as well.

I spent 25 on 12 quarts of oil, 3.50 on my filter, 3 on a cheapo oil tub, and 2.50 for a three pack of air freshners $34 for an oil change, and all but the filter for the next one.

Wolfs head is actually owned by Penzzoil if I remember right. I used to work at a hardware store that sold it in Michigan. It's not bad stuff but it's not great either. With an engine that's burning oil I'd say it's a good choice. But try substituting a quart of oil with an oil thickener. I used to own a '97 thunderbird that we rebuilt the engine on and it was a Frankenstein engine and it burned oil badddd so I used oil thickener and it helped a lot. Costs about $11 but it's worth it.
