Has anyone built custom bumpers for their truck? No one makes em anymore and if they do their like 2 grand. Waaaaay overpriced. I was thinking about building my own. Anyone built any? Or built any for any truck? Difficulty? Look? I basically want something with a flat plate in front and two angle cut pieces on the edge welded at a 15 or so degree angle. Winch mount and easy brush gaurd. I dont know if i want to do this or just buy a brush gaurd

 

There was another thread on one of the other websites (can't remember where though) where a kid in a metal shop put together a really nice front bumper. He had all the demensions and detailed instructions.

 

I built mine... and I made it bolt on. With all the materials, it was under $200.

 

I REALLY like that. I wish i could design a cross between a prerunner and winch mount/brush gaurd bumper. Would be perfect for me.
