there are 2 plugs that go into the motor so wich one should i look at?

when my motor went bad it made weird noises, but it sounded like it was going to explode or something.

well my motor never made any noise, it just went to turn the wipers on the wiper regulator just started ticking, now it only ticks wen i switch to difrent speeds.

That says '83 Bronco. Not the same as far as wire colors but testing procedures should be close to the same.
