There's some screws from the top in front of the windshield and some more across the front from under the hood.

Chris thanks for your reply.
Another basic question, on the 1989 theres a small clip I've taken off the bottom of the wiper arm assembly but the arm still won't come off. Am I missing something in regards to getting the arm of thanks.

IIRC, there's a small slider clip that holds the wiper arm off the windshield. Once this is in place to relieve the arm's spring tension, start gently wiggling the arm in and out (towards the windshield and away) while pulling outward at the base of the arm. Whew, almost easier to do than to describe...

Thanks for your reply. I pulled a small clip that came all the way out. Is there only the one clip on the arm.

The little clip on the wiper arm isn't supposed to come off. You lift the wiper blade away from the w/shield, pull the clip out about 1/8" and let go of the wiper. The wiper should now be held away from the w/shield.
The wiper arm assembly should now pop off the drive piece that turns it. Sometimes they're stuck on there pretty good and you have to get a little physical with it, but at this point it's just pressed on to the teeth
