Default 92 long time to start

92 f150 with 302 in it. seems to crank over forever before it starts. have tried turning key on and letting pump prime before starting, no effect. can this be a fuel pressure and or regulator issue? how do i check the regulator? thanks

Yes ,it could, but you need to put a fuel pressure guage on it to test it properly... Also check for codes

lol dad is saying some choice words now, he found the hard plastic vac line to the MAP sensor broken down at the fitting on the intake. fixed that and now truck starts right up, no extended cranking.

It's best to be proactive with the vac lines, when one goes the others will be right behind it.
