Default Will this work?

I've been searching around finding different parts here and there for my truck and I found a 6in. lift from a bronco for $500. I know that its interchangeable from the F150 and the bronco but MY concern is I have a 2wd set up on my truck for right now and would this lift work? I have the TTB I-beams. I could just go ahead and buy the Dana44 with it but I don't have a Tcase for it yet. or shafts.

Unless you really plan on making it 4x4 I wouldn't bother with that kit. And swapping over the front end is going to be more pain than its really worth. I would save your money. You can buy a brand new 4 inch suspension lift from superlift for 750. And I'm sure there's other kits that may even be cheaper.

i'd get the d44 with it too. do you have an auto or manual trans? either way you'll have to swap the trans too.

not that hard to do really.

I ended up getting the kit tonight, its a Rough Country 6" suspension with the dual shocks (not needed), Dual shock steering stabilizer, extended brake lines drop pitman arm, all drop down pieces and hardware with it. It has the Nitro 9000 upgrade, its a full lift, no blocks for the rear axle, just new leafs and the new coils. I got the Dana44 for it for free and is in great condition with new warn locking hubs U-joints, recent rotors/pads/calipers, good ball joints, tie rods and bearings. I also got a new steering gearbox with it. Overall this kit is about a grand not including the dana44, gearbox, leaf hangers and sway bar extensions. all for $500. the kit is almost brand new out of the box.

I could be mistaken but i dont think leaf springs from a bronco will go on a f150, it says on the website when you go to buy the kit the option is bronco or f150 cuz the leafs are different

Looking at it, I think they're too wide, I'm probably going to have to do some blocks under it or something... Or find me some hangers for my new leafs.

i'm not sure about the bronco and f150 leafs being the same??? but i do know that the 4x2 and the 4x4 f150 leafs are differant, 2x4 are 2.5" wide springs and the shackles and frame mounts are all differant. i would sugest you sell those leafs on fleabay get yourself a 3" block and a 2" addaleaf

the only real solution if you want to use the springs that you bought would be to buy both front and rear hangers and brackets then they should be fine, but your looking at prolly another $150

Yeah I know, I'm going to sell them along with the Dana44 and get my money back and get some blocks for the rear, I mean I already have 2" blocks and now I have another set of 2" blocks so I'll see how I like it set together and buy some 4" blocks if I can. Do you know anything about the extended brake lines? I ran into a problem, My brake line on the DF has a splitter of three - one is driverside, other is pass side and other is the feed from the MC but I got 2 extended brake lines, the pass side worked great the driver side doens't have the tree like the stock ones do, AHHHH what do I do?
