Default wheels and backspacing

Hey guys, looking for some direction when it comes to buying wheels and tires. I currently have a set of 35x10.5 on my stock rim on my 93 f150 4x4 with the 4.9I6. I want to upgrade to 35's with a 15 or 17 inch wheel. I know that the backspaceing helps with room inside the fenderwell but I get lost when looking at rims online. If I could get some feedback on this that be great. Thanks

What size tire do you have on them? Any lift at all? I'm tryin to avoid any major lift other than a level. Don't think 35's would fit like I'd like but I've seen 33's on stock hieght

If I'm not mistaken back spacing is the distance from the hub mating surface on the back of the rim to the outside lip and the offset is the distance from that mating surface to the front of the rim. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong I don't want to misinform anyone.

Yeah I've heard a lot of guys talkin that way. I'll be fabing a custom one up soon for mine cuz the guy who had it before hit somethin and bent the one bracket and it just looks cruddy so might as well make somethin different but il keep that in mind not to make it where Itl hit the tires. Do your 33s on your 15 inch rim have a donutish look?
