whats the possible problem
do a tune up...if the cap and rotor is worn then spark may not be jumping the gap inside the rotor...coils go weak and the coil is taxed the hardest during idle...
good tune up and by all means injector cleaner but DONT use stuff like Gumout with Acetone or other derivatives...use Lucas lubes and cleans

just dont feel like getting zapped!
also I'm not a real gear head but know I can do it with guiedence. when putting the rotor on should the new one go on, in the same directoin as the old 1 was, or does that matter, also same on the cap, or does that matter. I'm pretty much going to be learning as I do this,
thanks for all it info to everyone! you rock
yes cap and rotor will only go on 1 way but it does help to pay attention to them and get them on the same way...change the plug wires by doing it 1 AT A TIME...
what I do is lift off the cap with all the plug wires on...
change the rotor with new one and replace the cap with the new one also...then I move the old plug wires 1 at a time to the new cap...these must go in the exact same spot that came off so if you make a reference point on the old cap and match that to the new then move the wires according to the reference mark...
I usually use a tower next to the latch..
