Default what's missing

The previous owner gave me a box o junk with the truck this included the 2 solenoids that operate the air pump. I just put on the solenoids and am getting everything hooked up but I seem to be missing something. There is no pipe to hook into on the top side of the engine.

What am I missing and where can I get it?

You're missing the air injection tube. It has six ports on it that screw either into the head or intake. I'd take a picture of mine but I don't have it anymore.

Do I not need it? The head is off of a 92 or 93 did they all have the air injection? How is it running without it?

You don't need it if you don't have inspections. My '87 had it screwed in the head. The '92 engine I put in doesn't have it in the head. It might be on the intake or it might just not have it, I don't remember and didn't look because I already deleted it.

No, the solenoids have to function or the computer will store codes for it. Hook them up but cap off the vacuum to them.
