Default What is this and what is it for?

I changed the distributor cap and other stuff in the truck. I noticed that there is a small black plastic cap covering a hole in the distributor cap. What is it's purpose?

It is also the push button to start the flux capacitor. Also what Sean said.

Default Not what I understood...

I was told that's the test port for the muffler bearings and Johnson Rod.
