Default Front drive shaft

I'm putting new U-joints and I have a clunk under the rubber dust cover. Is this the carrier bearing and if so is it difficult to repair or replace?

The support bearing goes in the main drive shaft between the trans and rear, the front shaft should only have a u joint and a slider which is under the rubber boot.

The slide portion of the driveshaft wears out. Mine is worn out.

Can a worn slide shaft cause a vibration, after the shift, when it settles into gear? At 35 - 45mph x 1400 rpm, like Iggy sang No Fun. Truck has a 4" Rancho lift with extended arm and 33's, runs straight and true other than the vibe.

With the front DS off I'm still getting vibes but nowhere near as bad. Won't be able to do much of anything today going up the North Shore for some camping. Name: 664775-Travel_Picture-Split_Rock_Lighthouse_State_Park.jpg
