Default weird

a few days ago one of the bushings on the sway bar end link had come out, so i took the sway bar off, ordered new bushings and drop brackets for the sway bar. a couple of times, while i had the sway bar off, I hit a pothole, and the passenger side tire kept going like i kept hitting potholes. not every pothole did it, it was random. I got the brackets, swapped the bushings and hooked everything back up. problem appears to be gone, Im thinkin the sway bar was hiding somethin else, but Im not sure what. any ideas

check your center pivot brackets for your I-beams. When I lifted my 92 we didn't weld the drop brackets at first. One came loose and was causing the same effects that you are having. We tightened the bolts back up and then welded the brackets to the frame. I hope this helps you out.

Just curious if that was the problem or not.

Mine was a couple turns loose. At that point if I hit a bump just right my front end would dance around to the point where I had to pull over until everything settled back into position. The best thing to do is weld the brackets to the frame. You may also want to check the bushings on the Ibeams. If the problem your having is the same as what happened to me, hopefully if yours was mild that 1/2 turn will fix the problem. I still would recommend the welds on the center drop brackets even if it is not the problem.

I was thinkin about the i beam bushings, and the radius arm bushings too. i saw a master bushing kit for 130-140, might just replace em all

Every lift kit I've seen requires that you weld the I-beam pivot brackets to the frame.
