I'll settle for an honest effort. 5th grade level. The only English class I did well in was "Creative writing". Fuel pressure was pretty low... 28-30 at idle and when you gave it gas dropped to 17-20!

Putting new tank and pump on there this weekend, hopefully i will see some sort of a power increase

Ok i changed the fuel pump and no more starting issues... however now the front tank is pumping to the rear tank... what causes that? do i need to change the rear pump too?

Unfortunately yes you will have to change the rear pump assembly also to fix that.
