Thank you, you taught me something. I don't know all the differences for OBDII. '92-'95 doesn't have that.

I just change the oil of my rear diferential and that part goes at the top of it.

It's the transmision speed sensor.

I just looked up the part number and first thing that showed up was for the 4R70W, so probably has the same part # in both.

And I think you mean E4OD, AOD won't have a speed sensor.

As for your original question, the module is behind the instrument cluster. But I would check the harness for shorts and damage first.
