Default vehicle speed sensor

could somebody tell me where the vss is. someone said its on the rear diff and someone else said its on the tranny. where is it?

Depends on the year, but there is one in each of those places on '87-'91. '92-'96 just the rear diff.

put the vss in and now the speedo needle bounces after thirity! is this something that will go away after awhile? should i have my friend scan and clear?

yep. its clean, brand new outta the box. im going to drive it for a bit and see what happens. if it continues ill have it scanned. it shifts better though!
