vacume lines???????

Default vacume lines???????

I was replacing the valve cover gasket on my 96 f150 4.9 and broke a cupple vac lines i was wondering if i could guest go buy some rubber hose and call that good or do i have to buy all new lines iam kind of on a tight budget so iam guest wondering what i can do for cheep that will work good

Rubber hoses will work just fine.

I had the same situation awhile back. I went to O'Reilly's and bought 3 boxes of rubber hose (18 feet of rubber hose/6 feet of hose per box) and replaced all of the brittle stuff with straight hose and my truck has never run better.

X2 on the rubber, but make sure you don't have any kinks.

I got all the lines repaced but now my heter vents dont work only my defrost??????? I guest got done replacing my valve cover gasket and intake gasket do anny of you have a digoram for my vac lines my trucks a 1996 f150 with a 4.9

Check the line just before the heater box, this gets brittle and any movement of the line will break it.
