My '88 F150, auto w/ the 302 beat two Dodge's w/ 318's, and a Chevy w/ a 350 on the quarter mile. Also decided it would be fun to take my brothers '72 Comet w/ the 302 and, although I lost it was only by like 4 truck lengths which is about what i beat the Dodge's by. To tell the truth i was surprised I beat the 350 because its modified w/ headers and real exhaust and i only have headers w/ cheap glass packs, no other mods on the truck, so far. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this big of an improvement w/ just headers.

you dont have the compression to actually take advantage of the octane rating unless you arent tell us everything.

Aviation fuel will hurt your motor. It does not have the addatives to lubricate your upper end enough.

No there is not lead in gas anymore. AV fuel has deicers in it. It does not have the addatives that your engine needs and with it being that high octane your engine will run lean which is bad.

My last 0-60 time was 10.76 seconds but i haven't timed any of the drags. And I'm using gas straight from town's only pump.
