Hand signals are still legal.

It's probably just the flasher.

Yep probably just the flasher. Had mine start flashing at weird speeds not too long ago, then suddenly just stopped flashing altogether and stayed on steady. It's about $3 for a new flasher at any part's store, and takes about 30 seconds to replace. It's in the fuse-box on the dashboard, the big round one in the corner.

Good luck

it was the flasher, and it wasnt 3 bucks, it was more like 13 bucks remember everything in alaska and hawaii is more expensive than in the lower 48's. and for the heat not a heater core problem, its a blender door rod that snapped off, when my brother was driving it in his high school days, and when i got it i had to replace the rear u-joints becuz he broke one and the other one was twisted and those lasted about 2 years than i replaced the front ones, and had local auto shop replace the rear ones. For that blender door rod i heard from my dad that we have to take the dash all the wy ff and replce it that way, i just wanna make sure form you guys if you have ever replaced one of those b4, and i need a radiator flush since its fkn brown, found that out like 2 days ago. So nothing is really jacked up just missing a few components.

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST
