Default turck problems please help

When it runs after a while and you turn it off then try starting it again it's
hard for it to start. And it won't idle by itself

IAC would be my first guess also . I would also check for vacuum leaks.

I wouldn't have considered the IAC at all, doesn't make any sense to me. The curb idle is set with the IAC disconnected and you've demonstrated the truck starts when cold. Confirm that there are no diagnostic codes present, and check fuel pressure. If both of those are good, I'd bench test the IAT and CTS sensors.

yes meyers i am haveing same problem changed map sencer throdle control idle control both fuel pumps fuel filters. same problem some say it could have a injector dribeling fuel after motor is shut off I dont know It is a 4.9 six cylender let me know when you find out 1989 do not waste the money like I did

yeah im looking to buy a truck and this is what the guy said it was doing after reading this dont know if its worth it thanks guys allways helpful and very fast

the guy said that he took of the iac and played around with it and it helped goin to see it sun
