Default Trouble wiring keyless entry

I bought this aftermarket keyless entry module entry module off of
Amazon Amazon
. I've got power and ground, and tapped into lock & unlock wires, but I'm having trouble getting it to work.

I'm sure I'm reading the wiring diagrams right, grounds are solid, and the module clicks when I push a button on the fob, but the best I get is a stuttering from the passenger side lock.

I've done this before on my wife's car. What am I missing? Maybe I'm wiring incorrectly? Is this a positive driven system? Negative? Or both ways?

Here's the wiring diagram I'm following for the lock system:

Make sure the codes match between the fob and unit, and make sure the antenna wire is free. When I did mine I brought all tails from the door switch to under the dash, and wired the module in, carefully marking the tails.

I know on my remote start the wiring diagrams said on certain vehicles you need to add a relay to get enough juice for the module to activate the locks, my remote start book says,"..the output of these wires is 300mA."

I think you might be right on this. It seems to jive with what I've been seeing. I can look at relays, but I'll have to research on wiring them in. I'm open to input from anyone on that!

Most do take relays to operate, one for lock one for unlock. It's a reverse polarity system.
