Default Horn not working

One of the two horns weren't working so I bought a kit to replace both. I replaced exactly like the direction said and my horn doesn't work!!! WTF!

Any thoughts why?

Probly a bad ground. Mines the same way. Cept I'm replacing it with an air horn.

Clean the mounting surface off really good. Bet that's all it is. Wouldn't hurt to make sure yer getting power to it with a test light too.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Use a test light to check for power/gnd, add additional grounds if you need to. Check relay and fuse too, cant rule out the easy stuff.... general rule would be if you have power and ground at the horns (when the hornpad is pressed), then the rest of the system is doing its job. And your new horns could be defective.

OK...after investigating about my issue, I found out about the Air bag clock spring. I seem to have two of the three issues related to a bad clock spring (no horn, cruise control). I do not have any issues with my air bag light (maybe burned out).

Is there a for sure way to test this to know that it is in fact BAD?

This part is 100 bucks so I dont want to buy and replace and it not fix my problem.

Horn and cruise control not working is a pretty good test.

You can test power in and out.
