Did you test the tps like Forge-World-FORD posted? Did you put it on right? The ect is cheap just replace it. 172 you need to pull engine vacuum for leaks. How does the truck run at start up,idle and driving? Pull the spark plugs and see what color they are.

I did, i tested the tps all good, looked at plugs etc all good. It runs alright at first but then it runs extremely rough but when warm it usually goes away.

Warm to us isn't warm for an engine. You just have to start it and let it run for a few minutes, maybe go around the block if you can. Did the other codes go away or are these others just added to the old? I would disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so to reset everything then take it for a drive and see what codes pop up after that.

okay lets just restart. Today in shop i did a fuel pressure test passed no problems.
Ran my scan tool at school but truck wasnt hot so its invalid.
Also used a scope on TPS good reading
As well as a Volt test, and ohms test on signal return wire.
On my way home the truck started shifting werid 1st gear would shift really hard at 3000rpm and 2nd would be the same also over drive off was blinking and MPH is like all over the place .
Ran a KOER and KOEO at my house engine warm.
KOEO:
118 Coolant temp sensor above max volts
121 Tps volts too high/low
122 Tps volts too low
452 Transmission Speed Sensor not sending enough data to PCM
KOER:
90 Cylinder Balance test Pass
118 Coolant temp sensor above max volts
998 Running in Fault Mode
So the lean code is gone and hasnt showed up again.
I bought a Vehicle Speed Sensor (is that the right one it bolts into transmission i got it at autozone part number SU1019)
And A coolant temp sensor havent put them in yet will tomorrow at school.
Will this solve my problems? And why is the tps setting codes if its good? Im thinking since the signal wire for tps and coolant temp share a circuit maybe the bad temp sensor is triggering it.
I know its alot im throwing at you but i appreciate the help, sorry for the confusion as well.

The only vss I know of is on the rear diff. By all over the place do you mean the needle was bouncing back and forth? These are a lot of codes/issues I haven't really had to deal with so I'm helping with what I know or can look up from here. If your computer is running in fault mode then that is definitely a big issue.

If there's one on the transmission I haven't seen it.

It doesnt look like that, on autozone type the part number i put in my previous post think its sup1019 , and yeah the truck has 998 running in fault mode . I think the coolant sensor would. Do that though because its a key sensor without it fuel air mixture is off. And like when im at 60 itll bounce from 60 to like 40 and back and forth with any speed really.

I saw the part you put up, I'm just telling you the only speed sensor I know of is on the rear and what I posted is what it looks like. Mines a 92 though so I'm not sure what little changes they made to things in the following years of our gen. This is moving out of my realm of experience on these trucks. From my experience when the speedo is bouncing either the sensor on the diff is bad, the connection is NAD, or something damaged the toner ring in the rear diff. Humor me and just check the top-ish front side of the rear diff (drive shaft side) for an electrical plug going to a piece held in by one bolt.

Without being hands on I have no idea what to test or check right now. To me it sounds like your computer can decide what's wrong, but a bad pcm is a pretty drastic problem so don't take my word for it. For some reason auto zone doesn't show the rear diff sensor I usually see, not sure why.

I know Ive seen it go by vss or abs sensor but it just doesn't show.

There is, i just returned the other one because i looked and didnt find a sensor like that, but i found it at auto zone just they dont carry it. And i have no idea about the pcm i get like one new code every day i havent gotten 511 yet which is a bad pcm so i have no clue .
