Default trouble codes

could sombody please tell me what these codes mean and how to fix em? somthin makes me think 632 is somthin i didnt do durin the test that i was supposed to do. thanks

332=EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittantly - EVR or PFE

632=E4OD - Transmission Control Switch (TCS) should be cycled once between engine ID and Goose test

I think I had a 332 the other say and it said insufficient flow to EGR. For the other....did you turn the OD off and back on between the cylinder id and WOT test?

In internal combustion engines, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduction technique used in petrol/gasoline and diesel engines. EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders. In a gasoline engine, this inert exhaust displaces the amount of combustible matter in the cylinder. In a diesel engine, the exhaust gas replaces some of the excess oxygen in the pre-combustion mixture. [1] Because NOx forms primarily when a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen is subjected to high temperature, the lower combustion chamber temperatures caused by EGR reduces the amount of NOx the combustion generates. [2]

Sorry, didnt know what it did exactly so I copied from wikipedia.

It helps our engines run better and helps keep mpg up.

It's basically recycling your exhaust. Keep it if you want better MPG, ditch it for performance.

As for the truck running better? It doesn't make a difference, in my opinion. There was a block plate on mine, unblocked it, seemed like it was running just the same.

I just keep hearing it makes it run better and that our trucks need it. I've heard of some trucks running like @$$ after blocking it.
