trany problem

Default trany problem

i have a 1992 f150 with e4od its a mud truck so i put a old 351w with a carb and did away with all wireing and my problem is it wont idle in gear it just bogs down till it dies could the tc be locked up?

You need a stand alone computer for the e4od to work properly, if its a mud truck only, get a c6 or a mechanical aod.

ok i have have the computer onhooked all the wireing is striped it will shift if i shift it just what heppens to the lock up tc

i gess what i am trying to say is i dont mind haveing to shift it byhand cuz i keep it in first and rip lol but is the tc locked up becouse theres no computer?

The whole trans is reliant on the computer to operate not just shift.
