I do a have question on tires, im running 31x1050 on a stock 15inch rim and needing new tires, i was wanting a taller and thinner tire and was wondering what size i could run, thanks

Welcome to the board.

Some members here say they can fit 32's or 33's on their trucks without lifting/leveling it on the front. You could probably find some 9.50's that would be thinner than the 10.50's. I am running the 31x10.50x15's on a stock front suspension and I don't think I could fit anything bigger than 32's. I am happy with the 31's and don't have any intention of changing the size when I need new tires.

Good luck!

You could probably fit a little bit bigger tire, but not much bigger. A 33 will probably be pushing it. You can get some tire shops to test fit tires, you might try to find one that will do that for you.

There are only a few companies that make a 33X9.50 but no 32X9.5. If you wanted to switch to 16 inch rims you could get the 235 85R16 that are about 32 inches tall but around 8.5 inches wide.

I ran 31/1050/15 on my 96, and that is the biggest you can fit (comfortably) on a stock height 2wd. I tried 33's and they hit the lower valance on the front bumper when using 15" rims. Besides, that big of a tire on a 2wd with out suspension mods has a tendency to beat u up going down the road. Sorry, if you want bigger tires buy a 4x4.

Yeah, if you go bigger than 31's you can't really find 9.5 wide very easily, it's probably best to stick with the ones you have or get a body lift, really cheap and easy to install, and get 33's at 10.5, but even then you may need to get the 16 inch rims, I dont think I've seen those on 15's, but they may be out there!

A lot of 'maybe's, I know, but hope it helped!
