What the hell kind of idiot idea is this?

Ok. I went through ALL the steps of finding the correct one! I went through all the tools to replace this stupid thing! I even read the service manual!!!

How in the HELL does a person remove this thing?

Thanks Collector. I appreciate the video, but it was kinda like saying "Build a huge rocket" if my question was "How can I fly to the moon"?

The hub nut is so tight, that it spread the wrench open. So is there some kind of trik to removing the fan hub? Or do I just need to replace the entire waterpump/pulley/fan hub assembly?

well you need a better wrench, then when its on there hit it a few times with a hammer like the video says and if you have some PB blaster it wouldent hurt to let that soak in for a few mins before starting. other then that it looks like you might need to if you can.

its not a hard job just might need some muscle is all.

Thanks again Collector. And I mean no disrespect when I ask, but have you ever replaced a fan hub like this?

I've rented the tool kit that was designed and built for this, and its not working.

As for more muscle? I've bent the wrench.

I've even heated up the hub with a rosebud tip on my torch. So is there a trick that I'm missing somewhere?

Yeah, thanks COLLECTOR.

Am I to assume you're working on a 4.9?
