Default Are these Compatible??

Buddy of mine may give me his brand new PA 3" body lift for earlier dodge full size trucks. Are these compatible? Ford uses the 7/16 threads I believe, I know about the smog pump and lower rad hose, but what about the steering extension? And the bolts and bolt lengths?

The pucks will work. I know that the two bolts in the rear of the cab need to be the same thread and size just three inches longer but other than that everything should bolt up. The steering extention is a shoulder bolt. IMO.

Shoulder bolt? What's that? I'll look up what the bolt/thread size is.

Haha its the same thing as a jesus bolt.

Shoulder bolt-one of those bolts that in your opinion isn't needed, so you throw it over your shoulder.

Jesus bolt- also known as a Jesus spring, its when your taking something apart and a bolt or spring flies out and didn't see where it goes, leaving you saying, "Jesus where'd that bolt go!? " or "Jesus, that almost hit me!"

As for the rear cab bolt, you have to pull the carpet back(reg cab) or fold the bottom part of the seat up(extra cab) to get to those two bolts. The nut is welded to the body so you don't have to hold the other side with a wrench or anything. Just pull one out measure the diameter and determine if its a fine or coarse thread. Add three inches for the new bolt and wallah you have two of the 12/14 bolts needed depending on what cab you have.

So no steering extension needed for a 3"? And I read somewhere the bolts may be 7/16 size and I pulled 5 bolts off a cab in a junkyard (1 front, two floor board and two behind the seat.) I haven't done anything with the bed bolts so idk what size. But my main concern was the steering extension, I can make bumper brackets.

Well I know the shaft can expand and retract cause of body flex and I don't wanna run into the situation of flexframe, or body flex and have it fall outta place
