I recommend anyone testing their tps is to get and follow the info in a manual. Then u know it is done right and is a complete test. I use the procedure in my manual and know it is right. Even though I have tested a number of tps I always refer to the manual to make sure it is done right. Any testing done wrong is a waist of time.

Your criticism of my efforts in particular to help others when you haven't done anything to help clarify things for other people yourself is, quite frankly, wearing a little thin. Perhaps your efforts would be better spent actually contributing something helpful instead of wasting your time trying to make yourself look important and all - knowledgeable by critiquing the efforts of others.

With koeo back prob the tp Sig with the positive prob of you meter. And Sig rtn with the black. It should be .5-1.0 volts when throttle closed. Then move the throttle wide open and the volts should go up smoothly to 4.o - 5.0 volts. Vfer is 5 volts. Measuring ohms on the tps is done disconnected and on the tps it's self. With your probs on the Sig-rtn and the tp ohms should be approximately 3.0 - 4.0k when the throttle is closed. Moving the throttle wide open it should go down smoothly to 350 ohms. Pretty simple testing in my book. I was hoping you would fix your post so you wouldn't look so bad on the forum. I guess trucks are easier to fix then people.
