Tailgates Interchangeable?

Guys which generation tail gate has FORD centered in big letters?

Is it interchangeable and would fit on my 1995?

87-92 had the stamped letters in the center and I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable.

That's weird, I have a 92 and its got the big piece of plastic across the tailgate with a small ford badge.

Can anyone verify that the tail gates are interchangeable? I'd love to buy one of the older styles

Would a topper also be interchangeable from a 95 all the way back to 87?

Woops, 87-91, then the change in 92-96. The chrome toppers? Like this one?:

I think you would have to make some clips to secure it.

Yep. I like the ones with ford stamped across it better. I was going to take that piece off once but it would have left huge gaping holes where the screws secured it.
