Default Tailgate troubles

Hey guys i have a 94 f150 XL. And my tailgate is screwed. its jammed shut because the metal rods on the inside are all wamperjawed, and it looks scratched up and rusted where the paint has been scraped off bare. I was wondering if there was anyone in the Texas DFW area who would be willing to sell me a tailgate that matches the picture below exactly. The blue color, and the chrome trim piece on it. Thank you!

Why not hit up your local J/Y and replace the internals?

To be honest, I have the standard all blue tailgate with the Ford letters painted on. And i really like the upgraded tailgate. And im kinda using this as an excuse to buy it.

You try to match the beautiful blue paint on my truck. Once you find it, ill attempt the touch up work.

Im if you take a paint chip to any auto store they can look it up. Have fun finding that panel on another gate that is in as good of shape as that id loove to have the gate cause its not rotted out like all the ones in ny.

Yep, color match the paint because even if the gate is blue it isn't going to match your truck.

LMC has those internal tailgate parts for relatively cheap.
