Default tailgate reflector help

well the red tailgate reflector finally came loose. i remove the aluminum piece and popped off the grey plastic piece under the red reflector. i put some silver ac tape across the section, to cover the holes in the aluminum and give some reflection, but im not sure what is the best way to reattach the red reflector, i thought about some permatix clear weather adhesive. has any one here re-applied there reflector and what did you use. then again i guess i could buy some chrome screws and re-attach it.

The 3M molding tape works great. Get it on right the first time because if you pull it off to try again you most likely will break the reflector.
