Default Suggestions?

Hey guys, I have a 91' f150 xlt lariat. the down side it's two wheel drive and I wanna take it wheeling. Should I go for a 2" leveling and a 3" body so I can stuff 33"s under it?

f250 springs alone would be enough for 33s

you would want to go 250 springs all around if you are doing it to a 2wd. if you just do the front it would make it a bit higher then the back. that could get to be pretty costly though.

a body lift would be cheaper but it will take you some time and patience. either way you go though, you will be able to clear 33's.

The coils aren't much, and I can throw an add a leaf in the rear if the front sits up higher. Would I need a alignment after the coils?

Yes. Tires will look like \ / after the coils. The higher you go, the more your tires look like this

Not positive on what it takes. Haven't done it myself and haven't researched it up yet. I BELIEVE you have to get a online kit of sorts, that gives you hardware that replaces some front end bushings, and whatever else, to give enough adjustment to get tires back in spec. F250 springs (especially in 2wd, you'll get lot more lift than if you were 4wd) could be too much out of spec that the stock part's wont let you/them get it back.

Hopefully someone chimes in, but this may give you something to look for searching around the site. I've only had my truck a few months.
