Default Starting problems have codes

Truck was running fine until the cold weather. Had problems starting for about a week, would take awhile to get it going, now it will crank and start but dies immediately then just cranks anytime after. Have new battery, tps, plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter, alternator. Did key on engine off to pull codes, got : 31,32,33,34,41,53. Any help would be appreciated, don't have the $ to send to a shop haha.

first 4 codes are to do with your egr system, I think the next one is o2 sensor lean.
The last one is your throttle position sensor above max voltage - I'd be looking at that one first since you just changed it and then start going over all your egr lines and make sure something didn't get knocked loose.
If you go through all my posts you'll see "testing the tps". Check the voltage for your signal wire first - the other 2 tests are more for if you have no voltage.

Thank you Chris1, I will be out of town this weekend, but I will update you on Monday after the tests!

do yourself a favor and get a shop manual for your truck. then look up each code and run the tests indicated for each code. remember the codes only tell you what system is being affected, not what is actually wrong.

for instance the O2 sensor code might be indicating a lean mixture, but that might be the result of a vacuum leak, rather than a bad sensor.

Ran the test on the tps:
1)check power feed: -.23
2)check ground: .03---.05
3)check signal: 0
Not too familiar with setting up multimeters so not 100% sure I did this correctly.

Also, the tps was changed a few months ago, truck continued to run fine up until this problem arose.

Those numbers are way off what they should be. If they were accurate, I'd say that's your first problem but I doubt they are.
Set your multimeter to 20 volts dc (20vdc) and try again. signal wire should be at .9 closed throttle and rise and fall steadily between .9 and 5 volts as you open and close the throttle. Done with the key on, engine off.
Feed wire should be 5 volts and the ground should be 12v

Hey guys, so I redid the tps test. Checking the feed: red lead to red wire on tps (orange on my tps) and black lead to battery ground reads 0. I tested it with the probe to the wire, and the probe in the pigtail, same reading.
Today the truck actually started and ran until I took my foot off the gas for about a minute. Strong smell of gas and wouldn't start after that initial try.

I also didn't get any readings from the ground and signal test. Read at 0's.
So unless I am testing incorrectly I think that's a good starting point.

Something not quite right there. You should have voltage coming in (5 v) and a good ground going back (12v). Connector or wire maybe, or possibly in the computer itself.
Might be worth checking all your cab grounds. Stranger things have happened.
1 by the driver's hood hinge, 2 behind the kick panels, cab to frame strap, and cab to engine strap.

Ok. Let's forget about that last post. Figured out how to run the test properly on the TPS and it checks out fine. Smooth with no spikes while opening and closing throttle. That signal wire rests at .95V. I know it's supposed to be closer to .9V. Would that cause the truck to not run? Also picking up vacuum hoses today to replace all of them.
