Exclamation Starting Problem!!!!

My pickup has a strange problem. when i start it up every morning it starts normal ,but after its been drivin for a little while and shut off i try again to start it and it cranks and cranks and finally does start but i know this isnt a normal thing. what helps it start faster is if i hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor when cranking and then it fires right up. I appreciate any and all comments to my problem , ive tried everything from pulling codes and doing a complete tune up and then some to try and get it running right but cant seem to figure out quite what the problem is. thanks everyone for putting on such a great site, and all input is greatly appreciated thanks again.

I would have the ign modual checked at a autoparts store, sounds like a electrical issue. Something is getting hot, I wouldn't think there are a whole lot of parts that would cause it not to restart when warm. There are a lot of parts that can cause this issue but most of them would cause it to die while driving not just not to restart. Also can you hear the fuel pump prime even when warm?

One of the other guys should be able to give you more than I can to go on.

You might want to do a fuel pressure test.

Hard starting when hot is usually associated with a bad coil or ballast resistor.

Lets start all over, when this engine doesn't start, we need to know is it getting gas? Take a fuel pressure reading. Is it getting spark? Pull a plug wire and with a screwdriver being held close to a metal object, is spark present? There are other possibilities, lets stick with the easy stuff first.
