Stalling Need Help!
uhhhhhhhhhh, i know somewhat of the history, but it may not all be correct.
an old man owned the trucked who lived in the county over from me, and he had ordered it him self and had it delivered. he drove it from 1994 till about 2002. he only put about 42,000 miles on it. He had gotten sick and retired.
he kept it parked for a few years. my father did alot of work for the old man and had always wanted the truck. well when he passed about 8-10 years ago my father bought the truck. he would be the second owner. no offense, but my dad really aint no mechanic lol if anything has been done to it in the past years, he had it sent to a garage, until i turned about 14 then i was the one who always done the work on it and i am now 19.this is just the first real problem the truck has had and i just don't know much about ford, none the less, about my model:/ but thats why i am here, trying to learn all i can while i can, and all y'all seem pretty smart.
Yes i had seen that screw and i actually inspected it. on the front and the back of the screw were it goes through the hole there is some orange looking thread locker, it didnt look to be tampered with but it could be someone else's doing. But i never touched it or messed with it at all. at this point and time it idles completely fine. its just when i give it some gas, and let off sounds like its stuck for a second and then drops to low.. But i will look into it, and ask some questions, and if its been messed with in its life, i will try to set it were it should be.
Okay, i had never thought of that, thank you. i do have plenty of safety pens and small needles i could use, i have the digital multimeter, and everything i need now. I also have the haynes manaul, an have done a lil bit of looking through it, but i will check and see what it says about adjusting it, it thats the way i need to go.
I just need to get figured out, cause its getting worse:/
Thanks Alot For All The Help And Knowledge!!!!!!!!!!
