Default Spring Replacement

So, my new F250 springs are at home after being delivered by UPS. I'm hoping to tackle them on Saturday.

Is it really just as simple as jacking it up, taking off the wheel, unbolting the top retaining clip and pulling them off?

Right.

Will I need to jack the body and axle separately?

It's better to take the caliper off and set it on the frame in case the rubber brake line isn't long enough when you lower the jack to get the spring out. And if your truck has it, you have to unbolt the sway arm.

Yes, it's for the front. I'd rather not jack them separately or take the calipers off unless I have to.

oh fronts different, I was thinking back springs. I wont touch front springs without good spring compressors, rent a set. makes it easier especially putting longer springs back in.
